Scratch Gravel MTB RACE | Helena Mt

It is always pretty neat for me to travel to Helena to ride. It is my hometown, so this is where I started riding mountain bikes back in 1993. I have raced Scratch Gravel many times, but this is first time to be the fastest girl. This was because no Cat 1 girls showed up, so I won Cat 2 and raced 3 laps. FUN!

I also love being able to see old Helena friends and catch up on all the "MTB stuff" happening in Helena. Truly, Helena is becoming quite a place to travel to for sweet single track.

It was also a great day for me because it was Mothers Day, so my daughter Ellie was my support crew - keeping me moving with gels and fresh water. We went into town after to visit my mom and grandmother for a little 4 generation-hangout. Great Mothers Day fo-sho!
