We are excited for our 3rd annual mountain bike skills clinic on Saturday, May 30 at Ten Spoon in the Rattlesnake. The layout will look very similar to previous years with check-in starting at 8 AM. The clinic will kick off at 9 AM and quickly will break into groups of 2 instructors and 8 participants. Morning session focuses on technique work. Lunch will be around noon and will be followed by a group ride. There will be a closing ceremony and we will wrap up by 4 PM.
Groups consist of junior, beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. When you register, you will select your group. Prior to the clinic, people will receive a survey to further break down the groups and identify similar technique goals for the clinic.
Changes for 2015:
To sign up for the skills clinic, you have to be a member of MT Alpha's club team. Membership is $50 for women and $35 for juniors, which means the skills clinic is pretty much FREE. You still will have to buy a one day USA Cycling license. Our motivation for this comes from the desire to further build mountain biking in this community and offer more ways for lady mountain bike riders to get out and ride. Please see our website for more details, other benefits, and to pay via PayPal for a membership.
Register for the skills clinic on our website on April 15!
